Hello!

My name is Marília and I'm a Brazilian journalist.

I'm working on a TV show about bilingual media (all languages) and I'm having a very bad time trying to find such material.

Does anybody know a magazine/newspaper/radio station/TV show in both portuguese AND a foreing language?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi

In London we have a magazine called Jungle Drums that has a Portuguese section then its also translated in english for those of us who dont read portuguese, not sure if its any help but here is a link to thier website http://www.jungledrumsonline.com/emails/newsletter_home2.html (sorry moderator if am not allowed to show a link am just trying to help this person and I have no personal connection to the above mentioned publication except that am an avid reader when I do manage to find one.)

Thank you so much.
I'll ask someone if this Jungle Drums can be used. By the way, it seems to be a very nice magazine.
If you need anything, let me know.

Just love the folks depicted in the item ‘Best Party in London.’ Reminds me of Doc McCoy’s line, “It’s life Jim but not as we know it.” Wacko

WDEM would you swap those Icaro magazines for a Varig 757 safety card? as am trying to find an Icaro Varig inflight Magazine ideally pre VRG days, cheers budy.

Marilia, have you contacted local emabassies for tourist guides and such like if I can remember the Lebanese consulate may have some Portuguese and Arabic pamphlets, and publications. Also in Curitiba there is a Ethnic library dedicated to the Middle East and shaped like Mecca (someone in Curitiba help me with its name please) but if I remember correctly there was some books with both Arabic and Portuguese and am sure you can get a Quran with both translations in one book for sure, again there is a mosque in Curitiba and I remember seeing there, am not sure if these are any help but just thought you might want to know.
