Does anyone here like the Brazilian singer Maria Rita? She has such a nice voice! I think she sounds a little bit like her mother, but not too much. Her second album is my personal favourite, but the other two are just as good. Has any of you seen her perform live?

Her music is also good for people who are trying to learn Portuguese. She pronounces the words clearly, and CD notes include lyrics. I would like to know what kind of accent she has, as my Portuguese isn't yet good enough to know such things. Is it Sao Paulo accent? That's where she's from, I believe.

	Hey Pres, like yourself I love her music, this is her site, it's in English as well. www.maria-rita.com Would love to see her perform, and had a chance a good while back, but something happened and couldn't go. I prefer the album Maria Rita, don't know where it comes in order. 	Yeah, I love Maria Rita. My favourite album is Samba Meu but you wouldn't have known about this when you wrote this in 2006. Ooh, kinda freaky! hehe She plays lots in Rio de Janeiro but I still haven't made time to see her. I will next time for sure. abraços, dani.
