The tickets are on the car. Since 99% is electronic and there is only a very small chance of you being stopped by the police, they will hav a hard time impounding the WTF. And when impounded, the WTF being worth less than the tickets, the proud owner of the WTF just says WTF and buys another WTF.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.gringoes.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2067">3casas</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Car Insurance<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 March 2010 at 07:43<br /><br />Also, wanted to add- had a conversation with Mr Mechanic last night about the ecosport vs nissan debate.&nbsp; His response sounded like the old joke about which is better to eat, a pound of soap or a pound of poo..... but he doesn't like the ecosport, personal prejudice.<br>He did mention something interesting- the new nissans being sold here in BR (like the livina, i think it's called, with that ridiculous commercial running every 5 minutes) requires a special scanner to diagnose electrical problems, that costs big bucks.&nbsp; Not the normal scanner, that you buy a package of scanner access software for all nissans, or all BMWs, etc, but one specific to this model.&nbsp; most likely, the only place that will be able to afford this type of equipment is the dealer, and so if you need service you'll be doomed to go to the dealer for regular maintenance ($$$$$$$$) or for emergencies.&nbsp; Not so easy to find a nissan dealer when you need one, i'd bet.&nbsp; and if they're doing it with one model, they probably do it with others.<br>]]>
